For over a decade now I have had the opportunity to serve at two incredible churches as a staff pastor. In that time I have noticed that what I do best is not necessarily “pastor” people. I found myself at my best when I was connecting people. Taking that a step further, it has always been my greatest joy not connecting me to people or people to me, but connecting people to other people. Nothing gets me more excited than helping people make the right connections to bring their church to the next level.
It is out of that heart that HelpStaff.me has been birthed. For years now I have overseen the staff hiring for The Oaks and have also casually helped many other churches on their search for a pastor. During these “casual” searches I have placed senior pastors, youth, music, kids, and small group pastors all over this country.
One of my roles with the local church I serve is in the area of research and development. That role has brought me all over this country to conferences and studying some of the largest most innovative churches there are. What I have noticed in all my travels is that there is no shortage of incredible people serving the body of Christ. So if this is the case, why does it seem like so many churches struggle to find the right fit for a staff member they need to hire?
I believe the biggest reason is that there are very few churches staffed with someone that can put together a professional nationwide search. That is where HelpStaff.me comes in.
